When art makes a difference
This last week has been filled with ups and downs. I apparently got sick in November with bronchitis. I never went to the doctor and after a week got better...so I thought. However, I have been coughing ever since. This last week I got sick again I though, to find out that I had been sick the whole time. Finally back to better with the cough almost gone.
The positive side was that I was part of a cool benifit concert called Roger's Revue. It is a show once a year with an orchestra, singers, and dancers performing music from Disney and Dreamworks movies. All the money that was raised goes to keeping music programs in public schools. I, as well as many other people I know, are so grateful for the arts programs in schools. They provide so much for those wanting to be artisits in their careers as well as for people to learn awesome ways to express themselves. It was a great honor to play for the concert and work towards such a great cause!
